Set in Nazi Germany, Kander and Ebb’s CABARET looks back at an often ugly era in history through a prism that warps reality. With multiple long-running professional productions done in various styles, it is both powerful musical theatre and an opportunity for daring producers to shock and stimulate their audiences. We’ve been part of multiple productions in a variety of styles, and thank Lewis Family Playhouse for the use of these images, which represent only a few of the options available for production.
