Maury Yeston refers to PHANTOM, which he wrote with Arthur Kopit, as “the greatest hit never to be produced on Broadway.” Much different than the Lloyd Webber Phantom of the Opera, this version delves deeper into the character of the Phantom and features a glorious score.
