THE PROM follows high school student Emma, who is banned from bringing her girlfriend to the prom in conservative Edgewater, Indiana.The story goes viral, prompting four narcissistic Broadway stars to swoop into town, to champion her cause but really for personal gain. Their intervention sparks hilarity and heartfelt moments as they confront the town’s bigotry, leading to a confrontation and ultimately the creation of an inclusive prom for all students.
