Peter and the Starcatcher is a prequel to the coming of age story Peter Pan, based on the children’s book by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. Twelve actors (or more if you want) make theatrical magic by playing dozens of characters: sailors, pirates, British naval officers, Mollusk natives and orphans in addition to eighteen major roles. As originally produced, the show is deliberately “low tech” allowing plenty of room for costume and scenic creativity limited only by your imagination.
